Hi, we are Shelby and Chris and this is our Titanic Hotel autunm wedding photography story.
We’re both from Skelmersdale and actually met on Facebook! Our first conversation was easy and natural, and everything just fell into place. We’ve been together ever since — and we’re now lucky to share our lives with our little girl, Paisley.
Our Engagement
Our engagement was perfect and private. It happened at home on New Year’s Eve after a lovely meal together, with our daughter asleep upstairs. Chris called me into the living room, and I honestly thought he wanted to show me something on the TV, so I took my time — but when I finally went in, there he was on one knee.
It was such a special, intimate moment. Soon after, we started planning our Titanic Hotel autumn wedding in Liveprool.
Wedding Venue – The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel Liverpool
We got married at the Rum Warehouse at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, and from the moment we saw it, we knew it was the wedding venue for us. The building’s industrial charm — the exposed brick, high ceilings, and dramatic lighting — felt like the perfect reflection of us.
We’ve always loved the nearby Tobacco Warehouse, and this venue shared that same historic, urban character. The wedding venue is a hotel so traveling guests could say over at it was easy to get to for friends and family for our home town.
Style, Theme & The Look
Our Titanic Hotel autumn wedding theme was dark greens, black, and white — modern, moody, and elegant. We wanted to highlight the venue’s industrial feel rather than soften it, and the result was exactly what we envisioned.
Chris wore a tailored three-piece suit and shoes from Groom Liverpool, while I found my dream dress and veil at Liverpool Bridal Boutique. My Charlotte Mills shoes completed the look perfectly.
Morning Moments
My favourite part of the morning was getting our daughter Paisley ready. Having that time with her before walking down to Chris was emotional and grounding. It’s a memory I’ll treasure forever — and one of my favourite moments captured in our Titanic Hotel autumn wedding photography gallery.
The Ceremony and Celebration
We had just over 100 guests, with five bridesmaids and four groomsmen. The ceremony was emotional, full of warmth and laughter. The Rum Warehouse at the Titanic Hotel looked stunning, and seeing all of our family and friends together in that incredible space was so special.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a relaxed meal that felt intimate and cozy, despite the scale of the venue. As evening fell, the celebration really came alive. We had The Upstarts band, Alf Butler DJing, and even glowsticks, that had everyone on the dance floor!
Favourite Moments
For me, it was walking down the aisle — I barely remember the details because I was so overwhelmed,I laughed and cried, but I’ll never forget seeing Chris waiting for me.
Chris said, “Seeing Shelby walk down the aisle was the highlight of their Titanic Hotel autumn wedding. I had to stop myself from getting too emotional, but it was amazing.”
