LINDOS PRE-WEDDING BOAT PARTY AROUND THE GREEK ISLAND

Pre-wedding parties are always a great way to ease everyone into a destination wedding. Beth and Keith surprised their guest and kicked off their week-long wedding celebrations with a Lindos pre-wedding boat party around the coast of Rhodes. Be warned, if you’re planning a destination wedding, this might just give you some ideas…

LINDOS PRE-WEDDING BOAT PARTY

Keith, is from Liverpool England and Beth is an American, they both have an infectious zest for life and lead a globetrotting lifestyle, so it was no real surprise to their family and friends that they chose to have a destination wedding, and Lindos on Greek Island of Rhodes was the perfect location for them.

Lindos is a picturesque ancient village and it perfectly captured the hearts and minds of the couples 60+ guest’s that had flown into Rhodes from both the United States and the United Kingdom for a week of transatlantic celebrations, all of which, was perfectly organised by Katia from Golden Apple Weddings.

Many of my destination weddings are 3 to 7-day events, that often incorporate pre-wedding and post-wedding photoshoots. Beth and Keith treated their guest to a Lindos pre-wedding boat party, and the pictures I captured made for a fantastic addition to their wedding photography collection: –

“For us, it was really important to find a way to get everyone together and have a chance to meet before the big day. We really wanted our friends and family to be comfortable with each other since it was a smaller wedding. We also wanted to create an opportunity for everyone to see the beautiful island of Rhodes. A Lindos pre-wedding boat party was the perfect solution! This went far better than we expected, breaking down barriers of friends and family and countries… however, this could be attributed to the open bar which we drank dry… twice!.” – Beth Malone

LINDOS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

The couple planned their Lindos pre-wedding boat party a couple of days before the wedding, I was invited to attend, not as the photographer, but what felt like a welcomed guest. It was a fantastic way to see the island of Rhodes, whilst getting to know the couple and their wedding party before the big day.
