1930's Inspired vintage wedding at Ashfield House.

Lauren and Micheal are a cool and trendy, ‘alternative’ couple who has an absolute blast with their 1930’s inspired vintage wedding at Ashfield House, Standish near Wigan in Lancashire.

Unique table decorations, vintage Viviane Westwood shoes, a relaxed burger and chips wedding breakfast and choosing to have the day documented by a photographer known for capturing the emotion and not following latest hipster trends are just some of the details that make this a wedding to remember…

Lauren and Micheal’s Autumn Vintage Wedding took place at Ashfield House which is a warm and welcoming, privately owned, exclusive wedding venue in Standish, Lancashire.

The couple chose Ashfield House for their vintage wedding because the venue feels grand yet retains a homely family atmosphere, full of period personality yet thoroughly modern at the same time.

The couples laid-back attitude was complimented with fast-food favourites during the wedding reception, this including ribs, burger and chips which was served to guests in the reception room overlooking the gardens and terrace. The room then transformed for the night time party.

Michael’s suit was 1930s Cuban style from Thomas Farthing. Lauren’s wore a 1930s/40s style vintage wedding dress which was complimented with an epic pair of vintage Vivienne Westwood shoes. Read the full story from Lauren and Micheal’s vintage wedding at Ashfield House on the blog.
