As a wedding photographer covering the Cheshire area I have vast knowledge and experience of photographing weddings at all the leading Cheshire wedding venues. Cheshire offers some of the most amazing venues to get married at in the North West of England so whether you plan on playing Lord and Lady of the manner or hanging out at a trendy boutique hotel, a Cheshire wedding could be the ideal location for you.
This is a preview of Jodie and Spencer’s Cheshire Wedding at Soughton Hall. The day began with a wedding reception at their local church before moving onto the wedding venue via horse drawn carriage…
Soughton Hall – Cheshire Wedding Venue
Soughton Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue situated on the border of Cheshire and North Wales. This stunning Georgian country house is full of character, charm and warmth. The venue is approached down a sweeping driveway that leads you to big iron gates and majestic fountain which is surrounded by landscaped gardens that make for the perfect backdrop for photographic opportunities. It certainly gives the wow factor and it’s easy to see why it’s Cheshire Wedding venue.
The venue itself is a stunning Georgian country house that’s been lovingly restored. Soughton Hall has a choice of stunning locations in which to get married these include a Dining Room and Drawing Room (which feature dramatic double height ceilings), a Secret Garden shaded by eucalyptus trees and a large Marquee at the rear of the house which is accessed through a glass walkway.
Jodie and Spencer’s summer wedding took advantage of a champagne drinks reception on the lawn with the grand country house as a backdrop. There was photographic opportunities at every turn before the wedding guests went to the rear of the house for the wedding breakfast, speeches and party. They had a piano singer during the main course and live entertainment into the night.
