For me, destination weddings are extra special, the added air of excitement of family and friends all being in an unfamiliar environment always adds to the sense of adventure and romance that makes a destination wedding exciting.
In many ways, I believe hiring a photographer you trust and whose style you like is even more important when planning a destination wedding than getting married at home. Family and friends invest in a holiday to see you tie the knot and everyone back home will want to experience the excitement of your wedding through your photographs.
VILLA ANTICHE MURA
Zara and Ryan planned a Sorrento destination wedding celebration to remember and took full advantage of a mid-day wedding ceremony at Villa Antiche Mura on the Amalfi Coast, Italy. Villa Antiche Mura is, without doubt, one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Sorrento and it’s easy to see why.
The couple said “I Do” overlooking the bay of Naples with warm breezes and breathtaking panorama views helping to create picture-perfect memories for family and friends travelling from England and Wales, who were treated to a truly captivating experience and a romantic wedding day to remember.
Zara and Ryan’s love of life and laid-back style is truly infectious, so the transition from client/photographer relationship to life long friends happened with ease. The wedding created so many personal memories from being genuinely welcomed to Sorrento by family and friends of the bride and groom to a crazy horse and cart ride through the streets of Sorrento.
The trust and freedom the couple gave me to combine street style inspired photography with documentary style wedding images not only complimented Zara and Ryan’s personality but provided everyone back home with the chance to experience the excitement of a destination wedding in Sorrento through truly unique wedding photographs.
