As a Liverpool Wedding Photographer I have vast experience in photographing weddings at all the top venue’s in the city. The Royal Liver Building has to be one of the most famous buildings in England and it’s a real treat whenever I get to photograph weddings here. This iconic building; which is situated on the famous Liverpool water front was the setting for Angharad and Tim’s Liverpool wedding, a day filled with laughter, fun and excitement.
Royal Liver Building – Wedding Venue
One of the oldest buildings in Liverpool now hosts the most modern of wedding venues. With a recent refurbishment, ‘The Venue’ at the Royal Liver Building is a blank canvas allowing the bride and groom to create their perfect day in any way they desire. ‘The Venue’ has been decorated to the highest specification, creating a subtle and sophisticated space for your special day.
Angharad and Tim’s Liverpool wedding day began with an excited bride to be and all the brides-maids lapping up the fun during the bridal preparations at the trendy Shankley Hotel before moving on to ‘The Venue, Royal Liver Building.” The happy couple said ‘I DO” in the Bella Ballroom which boasts incredible views over the River Mersey and comes complete with its own adjacent balcony. After the ceremony the guests were free to enjoy drinks and canapés as they looked out over the river.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Bertie Suite which is adjacent to the Bella Ballroom. The gallery-style interconnected rooms allowed for a relaxed but stunning wedding reception in one of the most iconic venues in Liverpool. Ronald Joyce wedding gown, Jimmy Choo’s, flying Owls, beautiful flowers from Blossoms House Of Flowers and bespoke table decorations from the talented Heavenly Blue home decor complimented Angharad and Tim’s perfect Liverpool wedding.
The Royal Liver Building wedding venue offers multiply photographic opportunities, from the moment you enter you are greeted by a stunning marble stairway on the ground floor. The main wedding rooms are flooded with lots of natural light and panoramic views of the Liverpool water front. It’s a Liverpool tradition to have some portraits with the Liver Building as a back drop. Nipping outside during the wedding reception and taking advantage of the hustle and bustle and surrounding areas of the pier head is always a welcome treat for any wedding photographer and a fantastic way for the bride and groom to have a moment to themselves whilst creating some unique wedding pictures.
