BROADOAKS COUNTRY HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I always love photographing weddings in The Lake District and Broadoaks Country House is one of my favourite venues. It’s a beautiful boutique wedding venue set on seven-acre of grounds near Trout Beck, Windermere in The Lake District.

Jess and Davis’s wedding took place early afternoon, it was a small and intimate wedding allowing the couple to spend quality time with their guests, overall they had a two-day celebration which focused on fun and relaxation with 40 family members and close friends.

The London based couple chose to have a Lake District Wedding because it was the destination of their first-ever trip away as a young couple.

Returning to the lakes to scout for the perfect wedding venue the couple stumbled across Broadoaks Country House and completely fell in love with the venue from the moment they saw it – a beautiful quaint country house with stunning views of the lakes was exactly what they wanted.

PRICELESS MOMENTS

Jess wore a gorgeous Ronald Joyce gown with lots of lace and pearl details and an A-line skirt which she bought from a bridal shop in Liverpool. She had altered to make it a semi-sweetheart neck – so it’s officially one of a kind! Topped off with and a pair of bright blue shoes with bows on the back – to help her feel like a true princess.

When asked ‘what their favourite part of the wedding day was’, Jess replied –

“Simply stood in the field after we’d just got married. It was beautiful experiences to be able to just stop and look out across Lake Windermere and reflect on the fact that after months of planning we were officially husband and wife.”
